    I have never ried a deep-fried turkey. I’m a swamp yankee that goes the old-fashioned route every time.
    I would love to try one someday, but not if I had to make it. I can’t afford a new garage, insurance or no.

    Have not seen anyone mention a smoked turkey. Did that for several years although you must have one in the oven if you’re a stuffing hound like me. You just can’t stuff a smoked bird. I usually stuff that one with oranges or grapefruit as the flavor is awesome.
