Quartz Silestone Countertop Burn Test – Extreme Test

This is a quick test to see if quartz countertop material will burn. I apply heat from a torch to see what the results will be after 5 and 10 seconds.

Most heat will come from a pot, pan, or oven tray.

How To Make a No Drip Edge on a Corian Solid Surface Countertop

No-Drip edge (AKA Marine Edge) fabrication video detailing step by step instructions. From the cutting of the countertop to the sanding of the no-drip edge profile. This process can be done on virtually all acrylic and polyester solid surface materials like Corian, HI-MACS, Staron, Livingstone, Stonia, Krion and more.

How to Install an Undermount Sink on a Corian Solid Surface Countertop

This video will show you how to install an undermount sink on a Corian Solid Surface countertop using sink clips with brass inserts and mechanical fasteners.

For the fastest, most secure connection of a porcelain sink to Corian solid surface material. It also allows for instant installation without having to wait for the silicone to dry.

No Drip to Cove Sanding Trick on Corian Solid Surface Countertop

Blending a no drip edge into a cove backsplash on a Corian solid surface countertops can be difficult. In this video I will show you a little trick to get a perfectly smooth transition.

How To Make a Corian Solid Surface Cove Splash – Pro Tips

This video will show a step by step guide on how to build and fabricate a solid surface cove backsplash. Cove solid surface backsplash fabrication is an advanced technique.

It is used to make the backsplash on a solid surface countertop one continuous piece with no seams or grout lines.

V-Groove Corian Solid Surface Demonstration

This video demonstrates the v-groove or miter fold edge fabrication process for Corian solid surface material. I use a Monument Toolworks v-groove machine, but this process can also be accomplished with a table saw or handheld router.

It is by far the easiest edges to fabricate, and the finishing steps are drastically reduced.

How to Drill a Faucet Hole in a Corian Solid Surface Countertop

Drilling a faucet hole in a Corian solid surface countertop is extremely easy with the correct tools. The best method is to use a hole saw. I have included a list of the exact tools needed to drill a faucet hole in a Corian Solid Surface Countertop.

Be sure to measure the faucet to determine the proper size hole saw.

This process also works for a grommet hole used for wire management. Be sure to choose the correct hole saw diameter and grommet.

Staron Solid Surface Table Fabrication – 5 Minute Time Lapse

Staron Solid Surface Table Fabrication from the CAD design all the way through to the finished table. I show the CNC process, inserting the inlay, attaching the edge, and finally routing and sanding to a satin finish.

The actual process of making these Staron solid surface tables is about 8 hours. These had a satin finish and a bullnose edge which adds a lot of additional time. We made four tables and it got a lot easier after the first one was complete.

Inside cove corner routing on a Corian solid surface countertop can be extremely difficult until you get the feel for it. I’ve had some questions about how to do it in the comments.

This video will show DIY and experts how I route the inside corners.

There are many other ways to route and create coves but once you get the hang of it, this method will work with no problems.

Corian Solid Surface Ramp Sink Fabrication with Slot Drain

Corian Solid Surface Countertop Ramp Sink video shows the complete fabrication process to build a Corian solid surface ramp sink. From the fabrication to the mounting and sanding followed by the drain assembly, you will be able to get a great idea of how to make your own ramp sink.

I use a CNC to cut the initial set of parts for the sink. After the parts are cut, they are sanded and prepared for assembly. Careful preparations are required to keep the adhesive off the finished parts.

After assembly, the slot drain is assembled and mechanically fastened to the underside of the ramp sink.
