Hi Guys! I’m new to this site so please forgive my ignorance.

What is the difference in the SSA and this forum?

The SSA seems a lot like ISSFA. This site seems to be for any fabricator of countertops.

I myself do solid surface, e-stone, and granite. I’ll even do laminate if they pay me enough.

What benefits can one get from joining the SSA over ISSFA?

Again, please forgive my ignorance. I’m not tring to be a trouble maker; just need enlightening.

Mark, the SSA was formed for the sole purpose of promoting solid surface only. Funds are being raised to do bacteria testing on different materials, after that is accomplished, the leadership will determine the next project to pursue. SSA is a small, grass roots effort, with little or no operating expenses, run by volunteer fabricators.

I am lost here. What are we looking for in the email addys? Have you been getting email from me the last month or two? I’ve been sending to you at musedive at aol.com Been wondering why we haven’t heard from you lately on the projects.

Okay, I think I’ve got it.

I almost never use the AOL addy. It only exists because rarely I have to get a document away from home. If there is a dial up only, I use AOL. My normal home email is musedive”at”comcast.net. My work email is info”at”mathertops.com, and my studio is info”at”balconystudio.com.

Resend and I’ll look at it all.

My Aol email folder needs a good antiseptic and possibly dynamite. Way too much spam and email. from viagra (I’m good, thanks anyway) to stuff I would have read if the intertubes had been around when I was 15. I suppose it’s really two sides of the same coin when you think of it.
