Coolest thing was yesterday when we got the CO!!! I showed it to the older girls, and asked them if they knew what it was.
I told them it was the piece of paper that meant that this was thier HOME now
Tom, seriously it is Not me. i couldn’t tell you where half the stuff you see in those pictures came from, or who installed most of it. Over the course of the last few months God has weaved the path of a handfull of Churches and our little orginization together.
Huge Faithbuilding excercise. The home is an hour away from our town. We have more money in Gas than Any Other material or professional service.
When we pulled the trigger and said “go” we had the home committed and a local bank financed $4k to move the home.
$4k to move a 30 year old mobile home that was gutted down to studs, from another county.
At that point that was all we had committed. Then God started answering prayers, one little bit here and one little bit there. ALL of the drywall on that truck was donated, as was the truck delivery. They guy driving the truck actually runs a Granite Shop in Savannah.
The entire thing has been off the charts to experience first hand. I am thankful that God saw fit to allow me to be involved on the front end, and that we weren’t dependant on my organizational skills to make it happen
……
…….I wonder if there’s an abandoned warehouse nearby to store items for the next project that comes along. Drop a bunch of removed cabinets, plumbing stuff, etc.
