Just got back from the Super Bowl. What a fun experience and, of course, I loved the game. Here’s a few highlights:

    • An amazing brunch before the game with families of the players
    • A police escorted ride to the game — they closed the freeways to let us pass
    • Cool entertainment — Cirque du Soleil and even Prince were great
    • An awesome game
    • The after game party with players and their families
    • Meeting Tony Dungy for the first time — what a fabulous guy. He makes you feel important, even if you are a regular joe like me
    • Touching the Super Bowl trophy
    • The warm Miami weather, even with the rain

Sorry, I couldn’t help bragging a little bit. It’s not everyday you get to the Super Bowl, much less have a family member play on the winning team.

OK, that’s over with. Thanks for letting me strut for a minute.

    Russ:

It’s nice to see one our own get the goodies once in a while. If I had a daughter, I’d be happy if she married a dentist.

See you in Florida again soon,

    Joe

    I’ll second, Joe.

Sounds like one for the memoirs, Russ.

Be honest Russ…What did you think after the opening kickoff and then the first interception? I was thinking, “Uh oh.”

Congratulations though. The best team won that game and Peyton and the team had worked hard for years to reach their goal. Plus the payback to the Bucs for letting Dungy go. I thought Dungy was too nice to win one, but he proved me wrong.
