I was tearing the plastic cover off my issue of The Journal Of Light Construction and one of those obnoxious inserts fell out. For some reason, I started looking through it and found these: http://www.fastcap.com/prod2.asp?page=speedbrace

I thought, “Damn! Those would be perfect for my Vegas install.” I was right. I just finished that job a half an hour ago and these things saved my butt.

I had a difficult time ordering them, as their website directs you to local dealers instead of ordering direct. The local dealers I contacted were out of stock. I emailed my displeasure to fastcap and they called me back and sent six speedbraces for free! Direct!

I’m never gonna build another brace again.
