Here is a center island that we redid at one of our retailers. Really no big deal, but check out the small counter. We have 3 x 3 blocks to help show the color selection. The mail countert is Earthstone (Wilsonart) and the small counter is made up of various Wilsonart colors.

Looks good Mory, great idea to show the colors. What is the thickness of the island edge it looks like it could be 1″ or 1½” with a large bevel.

He doesn’t sleep but 4 hours a day. Most of us need much more than that.
Tell me about last time I went a couple days on 4 hour day sleep the only idea I could come up with was how to get out of the ditch I went into after taking a short nap.
Beautiful work Mory but I must say that the red flowers in the vase are a little over bearing and take the consumers eye off of the inlays. Perhaps with that color SS top, a nice mum in a neutral color would blend in a tad bit better. 🙂

Print out the diploma, hang it on a wall, and tell anyone who questions your choice of flora decoration that it is an avant-garde statement on the evils in our world today. With a diploma on the wall, you can justify any decision, calling it “Ahhhrrrt” (Harvard accent a plus).Tom
