We are a Canadian company in the process of signing a contract to supply Solid Surface components for a large condominium project in lower Manhattan.
We are looking for a union partner with extensive Solid Surface experience to install the Solid Surface components.
New York City labour laws prevent us from using non-union or Canadian labour.
We have used Solid Surface installation labour in smaller U.S. projects in the past but due to the size and prestigious
nature of this project we would be more comfortable with a company with extensive experience in the Solid Surface industry
The project consists of 188 bathrooms each containing 1 vanity unit with 2 under-mounted basins, 1 bath tub deck with upper & lower enclosure and multiple recessed storage boxes and extensive wall paneling with floor to ceiling recessed storage boxes.
The project would also entail the delivery coordination and the unloading of approximately 6 trailer loads of product in approximately 86 crates.
We anticipate the installation process to take approximately 3 months, starting in June 2008.
