Hi All,
There is a lot of interest among fabricators for a newsletter that can be customized for their own business, but also has general interest articles geared to their target market. The idea is that 80% of the content is produced for a national audience and the remaining 20% can be customized by the fabricator for his own customers.
After months of development, the inagural issue of Reflections was produced earlier this year, with Andy as our gracious guinea pig. You can see an example of the newsletter by visiting our website at http://www.sitesnsolutions.com and clicking on the scrolling Reflections ad located part way down the right side of the page.
We are currently in production for the second newsletter, which is scheduled to be released in early September. The focus of this issue is business-to-business, or in other words, dealers, wholesale customers and contractors. Fabricators who participate will have their logo placed on the front page and back page, as well as sidebar content on the front page and an ad or other company info on the back page. We provide a pdf press-ready document you can take to your printer, and an html file that can be used for an email blast.
It’s a great way to put yourself in front of your customers and prospects with a professional piece on a regular basis (the newsletter is produced quarterly). Since we are still conducting market tests, we have decided to open this issue up to FabNetters at a 30% discount off the normal price of $500.
We are also offering the first edition of Reflections, which has a residential retail focus, at a 30% discount to FabNetters only. Be sure to mention you are member of FabNet to get your discount.
If you think you might have an interest, check it out. Whether or not you decide to participate this time around, I would love to have your feedback on format, content etc. of the newsletter we have produced so far.

Do we add our own local content?August 12, 2008 at 2:56 pm #42356Russ LeeMemberYou have the option to write your own content for the right sidebar on the first page and on the back page, or we can help you write it. Using your own photos on the front and back helps customize the newsletter.
In your case, Tom, it should be easy to create the content – you are so literate.
August 12, 2008 at 3:04 pm #42358Tom MMemberHeh, I’m more worried about too many words saying too few things.
Did you read my Surf. Fab. article?August 12, 2008 at 3:35 pm #42359Russ LeeMemberTrue, I’ve never known you to be at a loss for words. And yes, I did read your article. Good job! Wish we could all go back to dictating the price . . .
With the newsletter we have an editor with a very sharp pencil.
August 12, 2008 at 3:45 pm #42361Jon OlsonMemberHello Russ. Is this newsletter just for counter shops ? Do you think Kitchen dealers would see value? Seems a good way for Kitchen dealers to keep there leads alive.Tom your article was outstanding. You have allot of wisdom to share!August 12, 2008 at 4:01 pm #42362Russ LeeMemberExcellent point, Jon. No doubt this will eventually expand to dealers. Right now we are fine-tuning the offering with fabricators, since that is the part of the industry we know best.
August 12, 2008 at 11:40 pm #42378WagsMemberRuss, is this your company ? Looks like you do web design also…correct ?
August 13, 2008 at 12:36 am #42382Russ LeeMemberWags, yeah that is what we do. Our mission is helping fabricators bring their marketing to the next level with a focus on Internet technology. We find that most of what we do are websites, corporate identity (logos) and communications programs. Throw in the odd consulting gig here and there, and it makes for a pretty full day. Thanks for asking.
August 23, 2008 at 10:15 pm #42808Andy GravesKeymasterThe newsletter is real professional. We have not sent it out due to a problem with our data list. Over 1000 names have to be reformatted to print the labes correctly.
Otherwise, it is a great opportunity for those that want to send up to date information on a regular basis.
