Our distributor no longer carries Mixa sinks and their source for the sinks is no longer in business. After Googling a bit and reading between the lines I’m wondering if the manufacturer has pulled out of the US market. Also, my salesman ran across a “not recommended” for mounting a disposer to a Mixa sink, something I had not seen before.

Anyone have any info?

We never used those sinks, but they have them showcased in some of the Dupont Corian pictures.  Does your Corian distributor have a way to get one or is that where you were getting them?

We use quite a lot of Mixa sinks, which are made in Germany. The standard delivery into the UK is about three weeks.
These are now becoming very expensive due to exchange rates.
The major fabricators here do not advise the use of waste disposers (nor do we) and ask for a disclaimer.
I know that problems with seperation have been a problem.
