Are you talking about a workshop for a specific brand of quartz that’s put on by a supplier?

If you’re looking for a specific class to teach you basic stone fabrication techniques then there are two places you should visit.

The first is AZ School of Rock – https://www.azschoolofrock.com/

The second place is the Stone Fabricators Alliance. –

I don’t know what the cost of the school is. The SFA is $250 for an annual membership. Even if you don’t pay to be a member, the free section of the forum has a ton of information in it. They also have workshops every couple of months that are free for paid members. The next one is in Vero Beach, FL August 6-8. The one after that is September 3-5 in Morris, IL.

    Quartzo:

Heck, I’d drop into Mike Gladstone’s shop and squeegee his floors for a few days for free. You’d probably be smart to buy him lunch every day and pry out some information over sandwiches. It’s a great reason to visit Florida and you could stop by Gene and Norm’s too.

    Where are you located?

That is so difficult depending on so many factors. If you have the means, I would visit another shop out of your competitive area and talk about costs and pricing to set up a shop.
