    General Description

    The Assistant Manager Oversees the performance of Back to Perfection, Inc.’s Call Center to ensure it is meeting or exceeding customer service standards, goals and operating at peek efficiency.

    Also required to perform functions that are normally performed by a Service Coordinator.  Responsible for customer interviews, scheduling, coordinating, and processing all job services in a set geographic area.     The ability to effectively manage a large volume of residential and commercial jobs with a complex array of variables.

     

    Areas of Responsibility

    A.       Includes taking the lead and decision making in areas involving customers, team members, operational issues, business planning, setting priorities, creating schedules, compliance with company policies, and assisting the Call Center Manager with any and all areas of the business.

    1. Maintaining strong customer relations.
    2. Involves extensive telephone interaction throughout the day
    3. Set and meet goals, identify, track and resolve issues, communicate improvements to the team.
    4. Assist with special projects as required and requested by the Call Center Manager.
    5. Train, guide and direct lower level staff as needed.

    Minimum Requirements

    Must have and display the following skills and abilities.

    A.       Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain patience and tolerance with customers and fellow workers in a fast moving environment are a must.  

    B.       Intermediate-to-expert level with computer functions, including working in a Windows environment with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook and a Data Base.

    C.      Strong organizational, follow thru skills and work ethics.

    D.      Ability to recognize and drive change in areas of potential or actual weakness in yourself, the team or the company in general.

    E.       Ability to read construction plans / diagrams and do take offs or bids.

    F.       Minimum of 3 years experience as a service coordinator, install supervisor, dispatcher, project manager or similar

    G.      Minimum of 2 years experience as a Manager or Assistant manager of service coordinators, installers, dispatchers, project management or very similar.
