This here’s a seam I just finished up at the local mall food court serving area. You guys don’t need all that fancy epoxy, polyester and CA. Hell, just squirt a little black silicone in the crack, spit on your finger and smear it around a bit. Yeah, she’s a little low in the middle, but only a trained professional eye like mine would pick up such a fussy detail. Many thanks to Cameron, Nick and all the other SFA guys at the workshops that helped me learn such highly skilled work.
Gratefully,
Joe

Are you going to hot glue some diamonds on to dress her up a bit?May 4, 2011 at 9:25 pm #67647Un-AuthorizedMemberPosted By David Gerard on 04 May 2011 07:29 PM

That looks absolutely terrible. Fill it with epoxy and scrap it flat. How long could that take?

Andy:
I thought if I just posted the picture with another complaint of how much crappy work is out there it would be boring. Isn’t falsely claiming ownership of another’s reprehensible work much more entertaining?

It is entertaining. Who did this work if it wasn’t you?

Who knows? The food vendors at malls aren’t usually hiring repairs professionally done in my experience. Somebody turned their brother-in-law loose with a caulk gun and called ‘er good.
