Yup, that’s a PINK FabNet shirt (proudly displaying the FEDSAW logo) you see there. The rumors were true and the G-man was alive and well at the show. It was really great to hang out with Kevin (Surface Fab Magazine), Darren (D&D Counter), Karl (BTP), Mark (Alpha) and others while I was there. It was all business on Friday, but on Saturday, I let my hair down (and out) to walk the floor. It was dry and windy, so it was kind of a bad hair day……
It was great to meet Chris (crystallyne) at booth #760 too……..
I had never met the “Kowboy” before either. He recognized me, though…..
I don’t even know who this chick was, but she flaggged me down for a picture……
Great folks, good times. Sure hope to see more of you at the show in April.
October 22, 2007 at 11:30 am #28881Sam AllenMemberHey Gordon… Kowboy posted a pic of ya over at Stone Advice as well.
How was the show? I was unable to attend at the last minute…
October 22, 2007 at 11:31 am #28882Linda GravesMemberMan, LOL LOL, I gotta party with you Gordon. That right there is classic!!
Now, you’re telling me you dyed the FabNet/FedSaw shirt??????
EDIT: “Cowboy?” Joe Corlett????
October 22, 2007 at 11:36 am #28886Gordon DoullMemberYes sir, just for you.
RIT color #7 “Rose Pink”. Thank you very much for noticing.
Everyone else did too. I walked the floor for an hour and a half in that get-up.
EDIT TOO : Yup. That’s the guy.

Thanks for the heads up, Kevin. I’ll check that out. Show was good. More members out on the floor this year.
October 22, 2007 at 11:41 am #28890Tom MMemberGordon,
You win the Fab’Nads award hands down.
We are not worthy, we are not worthy….
Dave, can we dye the pigs pink and send one out to G-Man?
And yeah, Kowboy would be Joe C.
October 22, 2007 at 11:52 am #28891Gordon DoullMemberAren’t pigs born pink?!
October 22, 2007 at 12:09 pm #28894Steve LefebvreMemberWoah! I missed that. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

OH! you mean the animal…
October 22, 2007 at 12:31 pm #28901Piranhastonebiter.comMemberIn honor of the Great Gordo, the pigs are pink…the stuffed animals too.
I swear, I think I wet myself laughing at that. Good egg Gordon, good egg are you!
October 22, 2007 at 9:28 pm #28933Mark MihalikMemberI was there Thursday and Friday. I had to fly home early Saturday Morning.
Looks like I missed all the fun
October 23, 2007 at 1:05 am #28939ChrisMemberYup it was great to meet the man in pink! I’m going to have to blow that up and hang it on my wall as a conversation starter.
Did you know I had at least three people ask me about you after you left? And it was fun trying to keep a straight face and pay attention to the guy from Canada who was speaking with me when you came by to say goodbye at the end of the show, when I could see you out of the corner of my eye (pink shirt, fro, and all) waiting patiently for an opportunity to jump in , especially since he kept glancing at you nervously like something crazy might happen. Were you making faces behind my back? lol
October 23, 2007 at 10:07 am #28946Gordon DoullMemberIt was great to meet you as well. I will send you a full size image so you can enlarge it.
Three people, huh? I am hoping that many of the people who saw me will be anticipating a return appearance at ensuing shows. Just tryin’ to get the FabNet message out there………
Although it was tempting, no, I was not making faces. In that wig, I don’t have to.
October 23, 2007 at 10:15 am #28947Trask BergersonMemberYou left the misses at home???
October 23, 2007 at 10:57 am #28956Andy GravesKeymasterVery nice Gordon. I would have loved to go, but countertop problems, a sick kid and no family babysitter prevented me from going. Good to see it was a well attended show. Hope the Cygnus Expo has the same great results.
I don’t recall making any pink shirts….what is going on here?
