    i had a guy bring me some epoxy tops at least thats what i think they are..
    he got them out of a lad that was being re done.i know they are not soap stone and it has a cast sink on it as well made of the same material. its 1 1/4″ tick and black. the top is sun faded so it is a grey color.

    what i need to know is can i sand the top like solid surface to re finish it
    and i need to glue the sink because it is coming loose can i just use epoxy to glue it thats what it looks like it was glued with befor

    any help would be apreciated thanks

    I purchased some black tops from DuraTops in Arizona. I know you had to use diamond tooling to cut. Not positive, but I do not think you can sand the surface. Also the epoxy was purchased directly from them so they might be able to sell you some.

    thanks i talked to them oday and they told me its not that you cant sand it but if you do you have to sand everything else if you want it to match and they told me you can treat it with mineral oil just like soap stone
