Has anyone been using Avonite’s glass series (Antique Glass, etc)? Are they still recommending that you paint the back prior to installation? We have not used it in a long time and we have recently bid a job for several vanity tops.

Hey Val. Just did a job in the ant glass. Yes you still need to paint the top.

If you have a lot to do and have a simple spray gun it only takes a minute to do. The hard part of the glass series is when a customer wants to under light it and all your build up changes to clear acrylic.
