I’ve got a job asking for us to cut a 5/8″ wide by 1/4″ deep rabbet to accomodate a window track.  How do you guys typically do this?

    Thanks,

    Brady

Do you have to make the top one piece. If i could get around it i would two piece it at the track.

    How long are the cuts?

If they are open on the ends, just do it with the bridge saw, stepping it over a little each time.

If they are trapped, you could do it on the CNC with a new 1/2” fingerbit set to the right depth. You might need to clean up the ends by hand with a dremmel or something.

    Thank you gentlemen!

They wanted it ran all the way out on one and captured on another.  I think I got it figured out now.

    thanks again,

    Brady
