I’m in Greenville SC right now. Most awesome place I have been. Economy looks strong here, 2 hrs from mountains,  4 hrs from ocean. Friendliest place I have visited.

I got behind a car with a state personalized license plate, Sons of the Confederacy with a flag on it.
There is a gun store on every corner. Schools are awesome , traffic is no problem at all .

Congrats on your son Kelsey. I was only in Japan twice and never made it too far away from the Tokyo airport (Narita I think its called). I knew people who were stationed there for years and they liked it a lot. Is he going to be stationed at Kadena AFB in Okinawa?

He’s actually going to be at Yokota Air Base, close to Tokyo.  He’s worked very hard for this assignment. He had a scholarship at another school, but decided at the last minute he wanted to join the AF ROTC so he switched to the University Of Louisville.  He was one of 6 selected across the country to go to FreeFall school, the only skydive school where you solo your first jump. He earned his jump wings .   He was selected to be an an escort for the Congressional Medal of Honor reunion, an exceptional priviledge. He’s always wanted to go to Japan, so when he called with the good news he was selected for this, I had to ask, “does this mean my grandkids might not be over 4ft tall? LOL

I feel your pain Andy , it’s sucks when someone’s talents are so good, it intimidates us even though we are 1000’s of miles away. Lol

when I lay the stone thresholds, I slope 1/4″ over the 6″ width. Not sure how many degrees it works out to. Works ok with the door sweeps since the door typically swings both directions

We haven’t had a Radianz dealer in CT for a long time now.

Tom: haven’t you received the emails too about how wonderful their distribution network is?

Of course I can UPS them anywhere.

I’m not sure what they did to them… I just got back 2Amana SS blades, they suck too. They changed the hook from neg to pos. ruined.
I’m not sure what final grind is. Suppose to be 600 on our blades? Correct?

I have seen this about 10 times. Other than fix, I just sell another top.

Have you ever thought you are a victim of your skills?
Not sure what you charged, but looks like you might have passed up at least 2k+ on this job. Even if I sell them up to quartz or granite, I’m still compensated very well for my time  for taking an order.
I am amazed at your skill level on repairs, you are certainly the best.
In fact, I think you should think about a doing a class/gathering and teach some of us some of what you do . It has lots of value to us , and you could get some extra spending money!!!

Tom you said ” I am speculating here, but could it be that Joe’s position on guns helped shape him as someone dangerous in the eyes of the teacher, or the faculty?

    Here is my opionion Tom.
I am a gun owner, grew up with guns. I believe in concealed carry.  I have trained with the best and as part of the responsibility to carry a gun, I am educated very well on situational awareness.

Last year the SFA had a hands on training in StLouis… I really wanted to go. However, it was at such a time they had banned Joe from their forum and the words were heating up.  Then Joe said he was going to attend.
With all the things Joe has said in anger to the members of the  SFA, I felt Joe could be going to cause harm.

I decided to stay away because of the way Joe has made me feel with his psycho  comments.

I do believe the teacher was scared and was mentally threatened. And as Andy said, those sketches were made for his teacher.
