It is possible to change the look of composite sinks using acetone if you’re to aggressive.
If it’s not caulk residue I would suspect they used acetone.

Johnny C., I was about to post a new thread asking how to get old glue off 10:1 cartridge glue guns. Sounds like lacquer thinner might do it, but will it eat up any part of the gun?
