Nope. Was not the good Rev. Actually it was an automotive company looking for a way to safely remove a silicone gasket sealer.

    Power of the net.

Then perhaps I need to put both tools in your hands. We can arrange that.

JamesS, good suggestion for helping the needy. I have what might be an unpopular veiw on charity. I’d much rather ask why those kids weren’t being take care of by their parents. No one in america is poor unless they are lazy or completly disabled. No matter how old you are, you can get some sort of job, companies bend over backward, with state help to employee the handicapped, I know, I have participated in a few programs. Heck, it is so hard anymore to get 1 out of 10 applicants to stick it out till they learn something worth paying them decent wages for. Chances are these waifs’s parents are obese, with a $5.00 pack of cigarettes sticking out of their pocket, sitting at home all day watching t.v. or trying to hustle the govt into giving them a bigger check.

Giving does only one thing, it makes the giver feel better. It doesn’t take the receipiant long to figure out that a stranger might care more for him than his own family. Now, think about that long and hard. I know, I have been there and charity just takes away the kids pride. Read biographies of the moves and shakers of this country, few were born with a silver spoon in their mouth, most had to fight to survive. I give to the firefighters collecting money for kids on the holidays, I give to cancer research, mainly because it runs in our family, I give to donations for someone who facing something like a transplant, something they have no control over and couldn’t prepare for. I give to startup local polititions, just to try to get some clean, fresh blood in the cesspool called the state house.

In my opinion, giving just to feel better has no moral value at all.

You are entitled to your opinion, but this whole thing started with a question by someone on the value of issfa. I saw enough good in what it has done in the past, and although it has lost some, others still believe it can be turned around. Asking me not to join is just bitter, plain and simple, and harms those who need good people to help them stand up and turn issfa around, back into what is used to be.
