MemberThe SFD show is about 8 weeks away. You, as fabricators…what do you want to see from a distributor? While we only have 10’x20′ of space to show our products, and we could fill a hell of a lot more, we must be picky as to what will fit. We’ll be bringing both sides of the aisle…Solid Surface and Stone tools.
There are some major companies that will not be displaying at this show, yet will be in our booth. Details at 11.
So, what do you want to see?

MemberDave, how about a small table or wall with the bare essentials for doing quartz or stone. Maybe the minumum on one end, a little better in the middle, and almost effecient (for small tools) at the end. Go for the less expensive (read throw away) for those of us wanting to get our feet wet on the hard stuff.

KeymasterI want to see tools and supplies. I also want a show special. I buy now, you ship when you get back. I save money and you get the sale. I like food also, but that might get expensive. Bring those pencils. My guys love the pencils.

MemberIf you had some videos showing the actual tools in action. I think allot of people that attend shows are afraid to ask questions. So as not to sound stupid. A visual aid might help them see what the tool is for.

MemberGood point Jon. I have several videos, but pertaining to certain stone tools.
Al, I’m with you on that. We will definately have start up stone tools for you SS fabricators that are getting in to it. Even if it’s only on an install basis.
Andy, show specials? You bet your sweet patooty we’ll have them !

MemberGet a big TV, and show demos of tools. It is proven to be the best way to get people to stop at your booth. We bought a 42″ plasma to take on the home show circuit this year and all it does is loop pictures of our installs. Started doing it on a small TV a couple years ago, but we figured bigger is better.
People have no imagination, you gotta show em how to use your product, whether its c-tops or tools.

MemberThe one thing I need to see more of is water equipment with retraction for on site work (i.e. installations, repairs, re-finishing). We do a lot of that type of work and, of course, full containment is always an issue. Thanks.
