Guy calls last Monday and is looking for some Solid Surface tools. He’s in town doing a couple of restaurant jobs, call’s a countertop mfg out of the yellow pages and asks where thay buy there products. He sends him in our direction. So he shows up, buys $500.00 worth of misc. stuff and away he gos.

Same guy calls me friday as I’m locking the doors for the weekend. He’s in dire need of a few things and asks if we’re open on Saturday. I tell him this Saturday we’re not but if he’s in a bind, call my cell phone and I’ll come in and open up. He calls me this morning around 10 and asks if I can meet him at 11. No problem, I’ll meet you. Promptly att 11 he’s at the front door. We shoot the breeze and I ask him where he’s from. “Omaha, Nerbraska” he says. Hmmmm. He has 2 more restaurant jobs and is as happy as can be that we have what he needs. I ask him if he knows who Premier Countertops is. He says, and I quote: ” Sure I do, you mean ol Mory”. I about fall off of the counter stool!! He says: “Yeah, Mory’s a good guy”. What a friggin small world! He buys another grand worth of product and away he goes.

Won’t have to look at that CC receipt, he left his checkbook behind. With about 50 receipts in it by the looks of it. I called him and he said keep it till Mon or Tues and I’ll get it. So I locked it in the fire safe.
