MemberWhat Ever Happen to the Virtual Trade Show.I sent the following press release back in September announcing the opening of the Virtual Stone Show and you are probably wondering what happen?Well, to put it simply..technical problems. The show is now ready to go and we will be having our grand opening January 15th. I am really excited about this show and we gearing to have this be the clearing place for the stone industry. Keep in mind I am not trying to compete with Stone Expo or Coverings and as a matter of fact I have invited them to participate as well.I have hired Mr. Kent Joines who will serve as show director. For Immediate ReleaseVirtual Stone Show to Debut in JanuaryLas Vegas, NV – A new era in stone industry marketing and promotion will be unveiled in January of 2007 and organizers are predicting that it will change the way the business operates forever.Called “The Virtual Stone Show,” this new concept combines the same technology used to build such billion dollar success stories as YouTube, MySpace, Amazon, and eBay with the techniques used in physical-world trade shows to bring you an unbeatable approach to grow your business and solidify your place in a changing marketplace. With the look and feel of a real trade show, “The Virtual StoneShow” uses video game-style technology and allows vendors to display their products and services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with all the looks and sounds of a live gathering, but with none of the unnecessary overhead or negative logistics. Here’s how it works:Using the arrow-keys on the keyboard, the attendee moves throughout the exhibit hall, from booth to booth in a dynamic 3D environment.
Attendees can see the aliases of other attendees in the exhibit hall, view conversations taking place and type in questions or comments to be added to the conversation.
The Virtual trade show has so many benefits for the show exhibitor. The following is a brief summary
Attendees have multiple options at your exhibit.
There are placards available at your exhibit with custom graphics and information. By clicking on a placard with the mouse, a new browser window is open to a URL specified by you.
Computer monitors are available to indicate the availability of a video file or WebCast and open to a pre-defined URL when clicked with the mouse. You can also place your conference seminar presentation here.
Booth Attendants are also available which may link to a audio narrative of your products or services.
All in all, there are up to six URLs or links available in each exhibit.
A virtual expo is a great way to exhibit without the hassle of a fixed location but most importantly you will get more traffic, more leads and more exposure with a virtual show.
- More Quality time with potential buyers
- More Traffic
- Constant exposure to your product 24/7
- Your seminar will be available to visitors 24/7
- Your booth will have your contact info and business card
- You can change your booth at anytime
- You will receive leads throughout your contract period
- You can have video in your booth
- You can greet your buyers with audio
- One on one chat can be set up via instant message
“The Virtual Stone Show&qut; is not intended to compete with the trade shows in our industry but to give exhibitors another avenue for finding equipment products and services. In fact, we expect “The Virtual Stone Show” to be a positive boon to the live trade show industry as well.
By partnering with Goexhibits.com, “The Virtual Stone Show” will bring you the latest in virtual trade show technology while building a MySpace-like community where you can interact and network with clients, suppliers, and customers in a fast and easy manner that will remove a lot of the headaches that often plague our industry.
