KeymasterWe make a nice oval trivet with a handle. We give them to school functions, PTA events, Round Table Events, Senior Center events. Put a huge sticker on the back advertising your company. They take about 5 minutes apiece to make. We only do them between jobs. If you have a CNC you can make a ton of them in just a few hours. The only thing that sucks is you have to put the little feet on them. Takes a lot of time.

MemberYep, just like Andy said,
We also use them for gifts at holidays, or if a job doesn’t go as planed we will give the customer one to make up for it. They do come in handy.

MemberQuick and easy cutting bords for charities. They make a decent amount of dough on these, and you feel good for helping out.I have yet to charge anything for these charity trivets. I don’t regret it one bit.

MemberFor quite a while, we had these two retired gentlemen that would come around and collect the cut outs to make stuff out of. We knew when they started to cut them because they would come to ask who sharpened blades or what we used because theirs were just breaking. Now our local art guild wants all the ones we can give them, who knows what they are doing with all of them, but I am glad to give them away.

MemberAndy, it takes a lot of time to put the feet on them???

KeymasterFor some reason the little rubber feet are a pain for some to put on. They are supposed to be in at the edges a bit and some people put them right at the edge or way in the middle of the trivet.

MemberAhh, it takes about 7.9 seconds to put 4 clear bumpers on the bottom. I’m missing something here but, nevermind.

KeymasterYea,
Then I have to go back through them all and take the crappy ones off and put new ones off. I guess it doesn’t take forever, but it just sucks. Put them on right the first time and you shouldn’t have any problems.
