Alright folks, buying a hi-end TV is an effort in futility. DLP, HD, PLP, PLASMA, yada, yada, yada. What to you own? What would you buy? Wall mount? Drop down” Stand mount?
I currently have a 42″ Toshiba HDTV Plasma. Great pick…mounted on an articulating arm on the wall. I want BIGGER without it being a projection…or do I? Friend bought a 61″ DLP that I have yet to see but he says it rocks although it takes up some room. You buy 1 today and it’s kinda like a computer, a new and better version shows up in 3 months.
I’m confused…
Can I have your old TV? I only have a 27 inch TV.
Jon, my “old TV” I got a deal on at a pawn shop belive it or not. Couldn’t belive it was there, couldn’t believe the price, couldn’t believe it worked.
And, I was there looking for old tools.
Florida. The only place I’ve been where scuba shop, surf shop, pawn shop and music store are all in the same space.
Just buy whatever. I just bought a new Dell computer. I got the whole thing for $348 with out monitor. This is the same computer I wanted 2 years ago and would not pay $2000. It does all I need it to do, it was the best then, why not now?
Lets look at the new 7.1 megapixel cameras…. humm…. if any 8×10 can be printed with about 1.5 megapixel… why do I need a 7.1?? Oh I know.. so I can email a pic to someone I don’t like. and have them have to scroll way up and across to even see the pic. Is that torture or what…. ? My 5.0 megapixel camera was upgraded to a 512 mb card 18 months ago for $89. It is now available for 14.99…ughhh
Dave…. take the $$ and buy beer, you will get a better feeling out of it!!
