MemberSomeone, with a crapload of time on their hands, has compiled a series of Darth Vader clips from A New Hope (IV), and imposed other audio from James Earle Jones movies. So far I’ve got Great White Hope, Field of Dreams, Coming to America, Blackboard Jungle, I think, etc.
Really well done. Nerely ten minutes long, but near the end, the guy actually found a humming audio clip that matches pitch to the whine of the Tie Advanced Fighter he flew. That silly bit when Darth is turning some kind of targetting device becomes a radio dial.

MemberHi Val,
Too much time on your hands?
I frequent a moron blog called Ace of Spades, which has both posters and commenters that have interesting views on the world. Often they find it and I follow.
I’ll let you in on a secret. Don’t tell anyone else here, okay? But on Firefox (my web browser) there is an add-on called “Stumble upon it” that let’s you randomly search sites that had many hits that day, based on particular subjects (politics, humor, photography, and online games are my favorites). I can post some cool online timewaster games, like a take off on pac man, but much better.
There, now don’t say anything to anyone here.

That was really funny, especially the part where he’s talking jive in the first two minutes or so.
Thanks,
Joe

MemberActually who ever did that had too much time on his hands but just for us to enjoy, which you should do before they pull the plug. I am sure he did not get permission to use the video footage so it should be gone soon.

MemberThat’s right, John.
Google failed to come to agreement with several studios. That may be one expensive amature video site soon.

Joe, the bit where he explains the role of the breadwinner to Grand Moff Tarkin’s board is precious.
