That’s O.K. Al. I can make a complete fool of myself without the help of alcohol, as I’ve proven many times, although it is a convenient excuse. At least I was entertaining. I must not have been too bad or Lynn Anne would have me walk the plank.

Joe, I am laughing with you not at you. Actually, I admire your socialization skills. Lynn Anne married you for some reason, and it speaks well for you. Trust me, I have my ways of looking foolish, without alcohol.

Make sure not to take offense over my remarks, trust me, I won’t be subtle if I don’t like you. You are an okay guy, even if you are different from what I am used to. Might learn something from you.
