MemberI did not get in on the begining of this conversation but we have used super glue as a filler. We did 160 thermo bent e-ticket counters for Air Tran airlines using Gravel and had some issues with voids next to the larger particles. We bought it from a hobby store and i can’t remember a brand name. It had a purple top and came in a fingernail polish size bottle. It was real runny but it worked great. I will try to find a name for you.

MemberWe use a product called 2P-10 made by Fast-Cap. It also comes in multiple viscosities and uses an aerosol activator for instant curing.

MemberBack when Dinosaurs roamed the earth and I was still good-looking we actually made seams in Corian using super glue and Corian dust. Remeber, in the early years V-grooving was what you routed into the top to fill a joint with phenoseal.

MemberWell, maybe I’ll learn something new here. What is everyone using the super glue for? We use it once in a while to fix a dry seam or a void. Any other uses?

MemberAl, we also have granite fabricators that use it to attach adjustable & non-adjustable dishwasher clips. But, only in gel form for that application. You can view all FEDCLIPS AT our website:

Look under “FEDCLIPS”.

Any other uses? That is what we use it for, and maybe a quick fix in the field if the fabricators forgot to do a small return for a side cabinet or short wall install.
