Delivered a job, 2 days later customer calls and said the sink would not fit in the cutout. I went to the job and sanded the back edge with a belt sander a 1/4″ so the sink would fit, was what OK?

You won’t have a problem with that but to meet warranty standards, you must have a routed edge and preferrably a sanded edge in the cutouts.

But to be honest, around a sink with no heat, there shouldn’t be a problem.
