Apparently some freak hail storm hit the cape yesterday and did a bunch of damage to the outer skin of the shuttle. The March launch is off and they say it will be 4-6 weeks before they attempt again. So for any of you planning on seeing it go up while attending the Expo, not going to happen.

    Bummer.

Thanks for the heads up, Dave.

Andy, not to worry. Don’t change your plans. Show up at the cape, look to the east, and I’ll make sure I’m positioned out in the field to the left with Chinese fireworks. I’ll shoot a few off. It’s the least I could do.

Bummer, we reserved out room for the week on the beach just for that launch. Oh well, get to sleep in a bit more. There is supposed to be a sattilite launch sometime that day.

Al, a week on the beach is not that bad…really. Maybe the next really cool counter top material will be made out of sand. Who knows??
