MemberWe use alot of Jost sand paper. We had alot of problems with the supplier, so we had to switch some time ago. From what I understand, they had an exclusive on it. After complaining to Dave that I would really like to get the 600 from him, he finally got the job done. We will be purchasing more sandpaper from Dave. Thanks, Dave.

Memberpjb, give me a week or 2 to get this rockin & rollin. The container is on it’s way. However, I’d like those of you that use JOST to let me know the size & grit that is your most preffered. And you’re right pjb, it is not on our website yet. I DO NOT put product on the site that is not in stock.
Feel free to call me at: 1-866-FED-SAW1 (333-7291) and we can discusse what you will need us to stock.
As always, we will NEVER charge your credit card till the product is filled, boxed and on the dock for UPS.

As soon as you get pricing, e-mail it to me. I am sure your pricing will be great. I also will be ordering 150 and up. I will send you a list Monday. All the guys in our shop will be glad to know we are going back to Jost. Now that there is a new supplier in town.

Just out of curiosity, why don’t you just charge the credit card when you get the order? Doesn’t it make it difficult to track what has been billed?

MemberWhy would I charge what I may not have? That clock on your credit card starts tickin when I run it. I don’t need to track product, folks do that for us. I fill it…bill it… and ship it. This is not real tough to do.
I may be missing what your saying Andy but once again, I don’t advertise IT unless there is plenty of IT !

MemberDave, I also used to use Jost and probably stopped for the same reason Mory did. I like their sandpaper because it has somewhat of a pad built-in and it seemed to last a long time, plus since it really has no “hole pattern” it will work on any sander. Their should be somewhat of a concensus as to what most of us use as far as grit progression, 100,220,320,400,600, do any of us really need anymore? Ok, throw in 150 for the anal types, lol

MemberSpeaking of charging your credit card and not receiving the product for ions, I just recd a catalog in the mail from a material handeling company. I ordered 2 heavy duty platform shop carts from the same company at the beginning of December. They told me they were not stock and would not ship till late January. Ok, we can keep fixing and using our other ones. Thought I just may check my credit card statement. They’ve been out of sight out of mind. Sure enough, the bastards billed my credit card the day I ordered. Called the CC company and had it taken off and put in dispute. Ya gotta watch that stuff!

MemberDave,
It sure is nice ordering Jost sandpaper from you. I understand our shop ordered 15 boxes of every grit. We’ll be patiently waiting.
