MemberAre you kidding Andy? Manny has been the best hitter in baseball the last ten years! The guy is awesome! He hits for average and power. Jetter had the fortune on playing on some good teams if he was on the Royals no one would know who he was.April 18, 2007 at 9:04 am #18608Jon Olson

KeymasterJeter is a winner. Winners are determined by the rings. Count em up. The Red Sox had the same opportunity to win like the Yankees and could not get it done except that one time.
You know, your just making excuses.

MemberAt least the Yankees can win with the juice. When Nomar was with the Red Sux he was supposedly on roids and they could not win. Jeter’s hands hurt because all those rings are pretty heavy, he needs roids (if what you are saying is true) just to hold them up.
A-Rod MVP 2007! Watch out Boston.

MemberI want A-rod to do good. Rumor has it he is heading to Boston next year. Plus All of us want him to break Bonds record for most HR in a season. Big weekend Boston V NY . I cant wait.April 20, 2007 at 8:20 am #18694John Cristina
MemberBoston could not afford him, they just blew alot of money on a pitcher. Unless they let Manny and Ortiz go. Then where would they be. If he went anywhere i would put money on the Angels, they have money thats burning a hole in their pocket. If this keeps up NY will love him and he will stay. Plus this October he will get his first world series ring, he will want more. By the way the rocket will be in pinstripes soon. Let him retire and go into the hall of fame as a Yankee
I agree, I would rather see his name on those records including career total. He is on pace to destroy whatever Bonds sets.

MemberJon,
Speaking as a Red Sox fan, I think Jeter is all baseball, and gets the game like few in the Leagues do right now. He deserves the title “Captain”.
A Rod must have gotten some kind of epiphany this year, because he really sucked eggs llast year, and he was stellar so far this year. In the first of the three games with the Sox on Friday night he completely stymied one of the best pitchers in the game.
Game one and two of that series so far has been awesome baseball. Let’s see about tonight’s game. A sweep maybe?
