hey I know this is off topic but I happened to own a couple of other businesses. One of them is a cell phone stoere.. …. Yes fedsawdave it is a Verizon Wireless store…
So I was wondering ,,,,, you have all helped me so much.. what would it take for me to start a network for these industry pros. After all.. its all about a better service for the end user and to be honest as an indirect dealer we are sick and tired of people complaining and the providers not listening…. We need to take some action.
If I had a group of people like you …. the small dealers in the cell phone industry could make some serious positive changes …
Travis, there was a great article in Wired magazine the other day, about the new transparency in business due to the internet. Seems that some companies that used to hush up problems and silence employees now encourage them to blog or go on forums to talk about issues facing the company. They figure it is going to show up anyway, why not start the talk yourself and seem proactive about it.
One example is a paper company in england that participated in a reality show, warts and all, and had an increase in sales from sympathetic office managers and consumers.
This is a whole new world, can’t wait till it starts it’s effect on politics.
Well, well, well, Mr Verizon, I don’t think you mentioned in a previous thread that you OWNED a piece of Verizon!
Let me restate, (nothing against you…we’ve talked) Verizon can……ARRRGGHHHHHHHHHHH!
You can find discussion forums on almost anything. I am sure they already have some on Cell Phone company customer service.
There ya go Travis, all things phone forum. I especially like the “Verizon stinks” thread. Those were the key words I used to find the forum.
