Found a brochure in this months issue of Kitchen and Bath Design news. Marble Institute had a four page insert selling posters, books about granite, etc.

One that got my attention was a poster proclaiming granite #1 in cleanability, said it even beat stainless steel. They quoted the Hospitality Institute study.

So how did they get from #2 in the study to #1 in the study?

I believe in support the industry, but I don’t agree with their BS. Sometimes when there is nothing left to say, people start making things up.

The MIA is big because there are tons of granite people out there with tons of sponsorship and money.
