KeymasterThanks Shane. I do appreciate it. I want to make this site easy to navigate and helpful for new users. Hopefully you can answer the questions, cause I know nothing about laminate countertops.

MemberLaminate? It makes a great dust pan. Why don’t you make a section for dinosaurs?
November 27, 2006 at 11:26 am #10247Shane Barker
MemberIf it wasn’t for laminate I probably would not have survived in business. Laminate will be around long after a lot of other products die off. Dinosaur? Well maybe, kinda like the turtle millions of years old but still around.

MemberOops wrong post . This was supposed to be my reply to this thread.
We still have a laminate shop. My Dad and I used to make laminate tops in my Moms kitchen when it was to cold in the shop. Hey Andy that would be a good poll. How many shops still make laminate tops?

MemberGave a guy in the industrial park we’re in that gets $35.00 a square ft for laminate. Yes, 35 a square. He does not care who walks through the door it’s $35.00. And, he’s always busy.

KeymasterIsn’t that pretty high?
November 27, 2006 at 5:08 pm #10268Steve Palmer
MemberReal high for these parts. The guys like 80 yrs old and he does not care what your story is. It’s 35 a sq. Period! He wanders in to our showroom about once a month to drool and tell war stories but, I see the tops going out the door.
