KeymasterAlright everyone I got the new image gallery installed and it works. Take a second to check it out and try to upload a picture to this thread.
Just click on the icon above in the toolbar that is “Insert/Edit Image”. It is the icon that looks like the mountains with the setting sun. The one by the anchor.
After you click the icon, a new box will appear that has a few diffeerent options. If you click the “upload” tab, you can just browse your computer and upload any picture you like.
Don’t be afraid to try it out. Much better than the last one and it took me a long time to get the dang thing working correctly. The best picture uploaded gets a free T-Shirt. You must post it in this thread. Let’s see what you all are made of.

You’re doing this in firefox?

KeymasterNo Tom, I am not using FireFox, but you should have the Insert/Edit Image icon. If I get a chance I will post instructions. I am just not positive about the whole process yet.

MemberAndy my Boss would love you. Very thrifty. It must have been hard to keep a level surface. Couldn’t you get free display material? Or did you just want to try out the Idea?

KeymasterI probably could have gotten some material but when I asked I didn’t receive the “Oh, No Problem, How many sheets do you Need?” I got the, “Oh jeez, I don’t know. How many sheets do you need? I will have to see what we can do.”
So I basically said forget it and did it with the scrap material. I think it turned out pretty well considering.
To get the thing flat, I belt sanded with 60 grit and finished with 600 grit on the GEM sander. We also used the Paralign to get the pieces flat. And we used Integra Glue “Charcoal” to seam the entire pattern together. The Charcoal had a real translucency to it.

MemberI wonder if the problem is in my firewall?
Every time I click “upload to server” I get a message saying I don’t have “enough permissions” to do this.

KeymasterTom,
Sorry for the confusion.
- Click on “Insert/Edit Image”
- Click “Browse Server”
- Click the folder that appears in window
- Click “Upload Image” in the upper right hand corner
- Browse your computer for image and select
- The file will then be uploaded onto the server.

MemberWow, and those images are only about 323 kb, according to the properties thingy.
I’ll have to shrink them further and resample.

KeymasterDon’t worry Tom. When you enter the picture, you can edit the display size after you upload the image.
