Hello Everyone. I just wanted to up-date The Katrina Relief effort. Last year a group of volunteers (Over 100) worked on the project from different Solid Surface shops. Three from Massachusetts, one from Virginia, and one from Kentucky. They all came together every other weekend for 3 months at their various locations to build Solid Surface Kitchen tops for many of the victims of Hurricane Katrina. On the first phase we where able to build enough counters for over 200 homes.

This weekend we are about to start the second phase. The goal is to build enough counters for over 300 homes in a 9 month period.

I would like to thank the following companies for there generous support of this work. When asked to help there was NEVER any hesitation . Their reply was: “You tell us what you need and you’ll have it”.

    Dupont Corian – Sheet stock

    Avonite – Sheet Stock

    EOS – Bowls

    Integra Adhesive – Glue

    Festool – 6 sanding units.

Thanks again – There’s a saying: “Give more than you take”. These companies definitely have this attitude.
