Even considering the limited number of cabinets I sell, I often see cool software stuff that helps me make the sale.
One company, Prestige, even has a CD wherein you can select a door (unfortunately, not a variety of stain), but you can offer different over all and close-up images of the different possible edge routes for that style. CWP has so many different things they offer, they have a software program that takes you, in a strict process, through all the decisions your customers should make, then gives you a price.

Would it not be awesome for a solid surface program that would let us throw on a quick “L”, “U”, or straight design, one that shows front edge at the sink, and one that shows a corner close-up that can be radiused or bevelled. Pick different colors from each brand, place them in proper scale for each position, and let the customer have fun with choosing from different edge styles. Most of you guys already offer iimages of patterns in programs like 20-20, so what the heck?

Throw in a splash image area, and I’ll bet that coved sales will skyrocket! (Coved v. Set on)

I’d get off showing my customers the options as much as they’d get off looking through them!

I have to go change now….
