I just about had a customer sold on Avonite Copper Canyon with copper sinks for a bathroom. The only problem was what color would you use for a faucet, I had no clue. Now this customer is probably going with Avonite Goldmine and bone ss sinks and then she can use whatever faucet she wants to.
There are many bronze faucets out there, darker than the copper which makes it look great.
Kelsey, are you talking about the oil-rubbed bronze, because most of those almost look black?
Yes, no, sorta, kinda. We do a lot of color testing for our lighting fixture manufacturer. They send me faucet colors to match, brushed nickle being the most popular. There are many colors out there. Bronze to one manufacturer is almost black, while to another it is liked aged copper.
I have seen a Delta Venetian Bronze on the last job I did, while it was dark, it was not black. Looked really great with Goldmine. You will see the same shades of color in the Venetian Bronze faucet as the material. My opinion, a white sink in this color looks cheap. Putting a copper sink in this top is awesome, but a very elegant style. Would look out of place in many baths. If vanity is cherry finish copper would look awesome.
Kelsey, the vanities are cherry, I will look at some more faucets. I still have some time, the cabinets are a month out.
Norm,
If they want to go back to the copper canyon, Elkay and Moen have some copper finished faucets.
