It feels so good to find a great deal on something you really need (before you go out and pay full price). I was in the need for more metal halide lights for a new section of shop and I had been putting off getting them because I did not want to fork out the money, I only needed 6-8 of them but at about $150 a piece it added up. With the season change I did not have much time before I was just going to have to get them if I wanted my fabricators to see what they are doing.

Then a friend of mine next door told me he has a friend that is changing all his lights over to some new type of light and wanted to get rid of all his current ones. I was told he had about 24 and they were the same as what I had in my other bays. I was not sure if they were the right voltage but they were at a very good price so I told him I would be interested in getting all of them.

Turns out they were the right ones and they came complete with the bulbs, and the 24 lights turned into 40. Of course my wife thinks I am crazy in buying so many but I could not help myself because of the deal I got. I have found a couple of other places that need extra light so I will use about ten in all and I have another friend that needs a few in his shop. My wife just doesn’t understand how cool it is to have so many more than I need. Oh well must be a guy thing.

These lights are Multi Tap (120,208,220,277 volt) 400 Watt Metal Halide. I have a couple of people that may want some but I wanted to check here to see if anyone had a need for some. I still want to test them to make sure they are all good and once I find out how many I have to sell I will take some pictures and post them on this site.

Nothing better than a great deal on something you need. Seems like I always get offers on stuff I don’t need. I would like to know the specifics of the lights and a picture would be great.

I think Mory just got some new light like the ones you are descibing. He loves his.

    Dani,

These are high bay lights with an open reflector.
