Getting ready to order some adhesive from Integra. Two quick questions.

    1) Avonite Bone calls for Natural Almond which has an astericks by it warning me that a perfect seem is needed for an invisible. OK,not a problem but, is this the shade you guys would use?

    2) Do thier cartridge require proprietery mixin tips?

    Thanks

Don’t know if they’re proprietary as we stock them although you might just want to get them from Integra with the glue order so it’s all coming from one place.

Talk with Chad or Ray, they know their stuff and won’t sell you what you don’t need.

    Just to explain the asterisk.

In the lab, we use a 5 thou’ feeler gauge to open up one end of a seam when doing our color matching. We work through our stock adhesive colors (roughly 130 options) in order to determine the best possible match. The open end of the seam is a way to reproduce what can happen in the field if a seam is less than perfect. The asterisk means that you can achieve a good, inconspicuous seam with a good fit.

    Chad,

Thanks for the reply. That is pretty much what I had thought but wanted to confirm it before moving ahead. I’ll be giving you guys a call tomorrow.
