Just waking up to the terrible weather news that shows severe damage all in central Florida. Just hoping you guys were out of harms way……

Kelsey, all is good here. I had to turn the weather on to see what you were talking about. A tornado touched down but it was quite a bit east of both Dave and I. Thanks for the concern though, I’ll be looking for that twister in Kentucky.

Hush Norm… we have had our share of very deadly twisters in the past 3 years.

Still no word from Dave though…..

I called my folks in cape Canaveral. Dad sez the major damage area looked like it was around New Smyrna, which would be East Coast. If so, Dave is fine.

Dave’s on the west coast (Tampa Bay). It was real hairy about 5am. Glued to the local weather guys. Folks in central Fla not so lucky. 14 confirmed dead so far. Church built to withstand 150mph winds, reduced to rubble!
