KeymasterScott,
What kind of sander did you buy?
October 16, 2006 at 5:51 pm #8764DKniceley
MemberYou got it today Scott? So much for DHL confirming a scheduled delivery date of Thursday. Anyway, when shipping across the pond, anything can happen. He bought a GEM Andy. All set up for Euro power.
The sequence on the Trizact Scott is : GBOW, Green, Blue, Orange & White. Light water mist on the 1st 3 colors and heavy on the last step which is white. Make sure to wash the Trizact discs out with water after each use. Prolongs the life.
Also, when putting the GEM pad on, do not force it. Place flush on the counterweight and gently tap in the center of the pad. It does not need to go all the way down. I’ve had to put it on for people countless times as they try to hammer it down and I can’t drive to Scotland to do this. Although, the thought has crossed my mind.
Cheers

MemberNot at all. I’ll take it up with Scott. I’m trying to put some local shop tours together for him. He lands on Sunday at 5:30.
