Many of us have grandmothers & even great-grandmothers living. FedSawWes is flying out tonite to Denver to see his Grandma, his childrens Great-grandma for perhaps the last ime. They were always close, perhaps a special kinship.

My own children have a Great-grandma. My wifes grandmother is now 95. Mind sharp as a tack but obviously, a body that is failing. I find utter joy in seeing my 5 year old son interact with his 95 year old great-grandmother. It’s so special.

So, here’s hoping that Wes has a wonderful time with his grandmother because afterall, when we forget about all of the mung of business , family should always be #1.

God bless all of your families.

    Wes,

Have a great visit. Take much, leave more.

I lost my Aunt/Godmother/confessor not that long ago, and I miss her.

    May G-d bless your Grandma.

There are times when we agree completely and this is one of them.

Losing family members is one of the most heart wrenching things that happen to us in our lives. When my grandmother was dying she told me that ” she had to make room for all the new babies in the world” somehow that made it better.

Norm, that was a beautiful quote from your grandmother. One I will never forget. An utterly unselfish thing for a human to say.
