MemberFor those of you who familiar with the Alec Baldwin “Father of the Year” series, now appearing in a newspaper near you, this is so far the best take I’ve seen. Bonus points if you know the movies he’s parodying. Ignore the first link, but be sure to follow the link to the daughters return phone message.
If you have sound, this is definitely not safe for work. (no pics, though)
Maybe even if you don’t have sound.
In fact, forget the whole thing. It never happened.

MemberFedSawDave, That is a “Pacific Halibut” that one is about 30#. The are much like a flounder or fluke. Eyes migrate to top side with age. Can grow to 300#s ( barn doors) . We have caught many in the 50-70 # range. At that size and larger the sex will change to female so we don’t want much bigger. At that bigger size they can be dangerous in the boat so it’s standard to shoot them and hog tie them. The smaller fish are better eating and less work. If Ican figure out how to post photos on my own look out! I have a vintage truck photo I cannot get to up load on the other thread. Disabled popup block . Maybe because I’m on dial up and not waiting long enough. 10 min or more? David G

MemberDang, “shoot them and hog tie them?” LOL That’s a big one! Around these parts it’s grouper, snapper, trout and the always fun Kingfish among others.

MemberFedsawDave, You ought to see the harbor when the fleet arrives at the end of the day. You can barley get up and down the ramps with all the fish packers unloading the charter boats. Thats appears to be the Homer Harbor in the backround. David G.
