MemberOkay, just want to take a small survey of what you all would do if this were to happen.
First you have a wholesaler that you buy solid surface from and try to get samples etc of other products. They never return your calls to see when can meet with them to sell there other products of they say be there in couple weeks, never again to see or hear from them. Okay back to solid surface a uncertified guys calls wants to know if you have any this product to finish up job. Say did you get certified to fab SS no but the sold me the stuff for the vanities and the manual, I do not think I want to do big stuff just vanities, so I might want to get certified. So what do you do just grin bear it wait for the calls to go and repair stuff, hope his work is good enough to not ruin the reputation of SS you have been trying to build back up , drop the wholesalers entire product offerings or just grin and bare it?
Just curious.

MemberIf there were no other choices for materiaI I would deal with it, such is not the case.

MemberWe all have choices, I would deal with those, that are willing to deal with you. Why support someone that isn’t supporting you?

MemberYou tolerate the treatment for two weeks, you call and ask if they are interested or not, then you give them one more.
If they have not gotten back to you by then, vote with your feet.

KeymasterGo with the companies that are willing to help you. That’s what is so great about the solid surface industry. There are many choices.

MemberI guess I knew I was going to stop promoting them, but what sucks is when you work to get some contractors to look at the product and start getting them to request it and then no service and then this stunt. I mean this guy is in my hometown of about 4,000 people and we had given him prices for kitchens before.
Just never dreamed that we would see SS become such a comdity that they will sell to anyone. I guess might have to start get use to it.
