Hi Fabricators,
As some of you are aware by now, we have set up some new distributors for our product line. We now have distribution in Tampa, Chicago and Phoenix. We are hoping some of you may suggest or recommend regional distrubutors which may be interested in adding Joest Abrasives to their line.
I’ll be at the show walkin’ around wearing a Jost shirt. Please stop me and introduce yourselves. I’m eager to meet you all!

Paul, I looked at your website. I like all the technical information you have on solid surface, especially the chart comparing solid surface to granite. Also I was looking at the Formica sinks, you are probably aware they have one in bronze now, I have a picture of it if you want it.

This is a customer from a former distributor of ours. He is from Canada that was paying excessive importation costs, duties, shipping, etc. We are based in Canada. It makes absolutely no sense for him to buy from a U.S company and import when he can buy from a Canadian-based distributor. Furthurmore, he has expressed an interest to be a distrubutor for us in solid surface, furniture, etc. in his remote part of Canada.
No, we do not sell direct.

Hi Norm,
Thanks for the comments on the web site. We haven’t had a chance to update it in a while, I do it myself and with 60 hrs + a week in Solid surface work something has to give. The furniture portion of our business was closed down the end of January to allow us to increase our SS capacity. We are now 100% SS and are additing Digital templating and CNC in the Spring. This will require a major overhaul of the site and we will probably add a section for Jost abrasives as we will be selling in Eastern Canada.
We have been selling the Bronze sinks for the last year and they are well received in the marketplace. Quite expensive, but when the customers love them they are willing to pay. We have done several double vanities with them. We don’t seem to be able to sell the nickel ones no matter how hard we try.
Thanks for the picture offer, but I have several, just can’t find the time to upgrade the site.
