Great deal, getting a free or near free pass using the priority code from the fabricator network. Could they also extend the issfa discount on the conferences passes to registered fabricator network members? Seems like issfa is a dead horse now and The Fabricator Network is doing the moving and shaking in the industry.

    How about it Cynugus?

Great idea Al, I know Cygnus is tiptoeing around the whole ISSFA thing, or they were in the beginning. I know they were hesitant about supporting the FabNet (at the start). I cannot see why they would even hesitate to do so now. In these days and times, you never know what publication/organization might spring up and contact Andy/Mory.. ISSFA sold the show to Cygnus, but what if FabNet gets so big, Fabnet has their own show. Just thinking out loud, but you know what I mean.

That won’t happen this year. I can’t go into details about it but I have been down that road already. No matter really because you already saved yourself $400. And now instead of the $400 going to ISSFA, the money goes to Cygnus. The more money the make on the show, the better they can make it. We all really need to consider how we support Cygnus because without them we have no show and no magazine. Anyone read the thread on “LOYALTY”

Savinig money is great, but it only amounts to about $100. Looks to me like you just saved $300.

Andy, you might want to throw a link in that last comment.
Delete this one if you do, cause I will look like I’m a bigger idiot than I actually am (and that’s saying a lot).
Did you mean this loyalty thread?

    Al,
I would be all for a registered FabNet discount, I plan on taking advantage of what’s there now. Understand, though, that growth means Mory and Andy will be doing other things more public with their list than they need to do now. That will be good for us, I think, and possibly great for FabNet in general, but it does men a change.

Another idea? How does ISSFA membership work the Surf. Fab. magazine thing? It was a nice thing to do, but frankly, I always paid for a subscription anyway, as I supported what the magazine does. Now, my new distributor, Parksite (I know, an old distributor for many of youze guyz) sends me a complimentary issue as well. Good on ’em and all, but I really don’t need three.

There must be some other magazine resources, however, that FabNet can work a deal through. Isn’t there?

If not, maybe FabNet can make one?

Well, that last issue of Surfaces had a lot more content for the solid surface guys, so maybe they are turning it around a bit. Hope so…. If the recent issue is the norm, I’ll probally renew the subscription when it runs out.

Andy, by my count, you have doubled in registered members since what, september or so? At some point, perhaps you have reached it already, this site will have blown away it’s competition. Stands to reason, uncensored, free, innovative, recruits it’s members as partners and has people with principles running it. At some point it will have become the defacto representation of the solid surface fabricator. I’m doing all my purchasing of supplies with advertisers here, except for sheet stock of course and Avonite is still a sponsor, isn’t it? I’m going to switch to Integra glues prettty soon, just trying to get past the first home and garden show before I take on any more changes in the shop. Supporting the advertisers by looking their way first is a no brainer and the prices are competitive so far, as they must be.

I’ve only been to one show, 2006, because the second H & G show was scheduled on that weekend in the years before. The 2006 show was worth the trip so I will continune to see it each year as long as it is kept fresh with new stuff.

    Al,

We are really looking to expand the reach of the FabNet. It is our main goal. We just hit another milestone with Russ Lee jumping in to help out. CLICK HERE

Things are really coming together. I really appreciate you giving the advertisers a look. They support us, we support them. Sure does help that all the advertisers have have quality products.
