I am encouraging vendors to give us deals and discounts on specific sale items. Also if any of you know of a great deal related to the countertop industry, send me a link. We are always looking to save some money.
Would you guys try new vendors if they ran promotions?
As a vendor and advertiser on this site, I am wondering…what product is it that you think you’re not getting the best deal on? I don’t need to know price, just the item. I had a fabricator in Denver that recently placed an order for MCX mixing tips. He was getting hosed by his local SS supplier. Another one in Atlanta was buying from a “——-” site and paying over 6+ bucks for 3M 11 1/4″ Micron. So, what do you buy a lot of…tooling, abrasives, super glue, scotch-brite, heat tape, replacement pads, bowl clips, stretch film, router bits, saw blades, safety supplies, not to mention granite & ES tooling …etc… that you need a deal on to seriously lower your costs? We don’t give it away…we need to keep the bills paid just like you but, as a family run vs corporate mega company, we have room to get real competitive and will do just that. Let me know.

Example is Festool has a deal right now for their new sander. It is $40 less than regular price until the end of October. Since that is the case, I would think one of the vendors would upload that in the “Deals and Discounts”
You did a promo on Glue tips and I would think that brought in a few potential long term customers. The point of the section is to promote a particular product for a short period of time to gain new customers.
Give it a try and see what comes of it. If it turns out to be useless, then we can get rid of it.
