Eastern Surfaces is an innovative leader in natural stone and solid surface products. We combine a high-tech production facility, outstanding customer service and old-world craftsmanship to ensure the finest quality for your home or business. Our business is growing and we are currently accepting applications for a Countertop Templater located in the Scranton or Stroudsburg areas. Our main office is in Allentown, PA. After completing a training period, you would work from your home, downloading information needed to complete your templates. It would not be necessary to commute daily to our Allentown office.

The template maker is the “face” of the company. They are expected to communicate effectively and appropriately between the clients and the shop/ office staff. Their primary responsibility is to take accurate measurements that will be used to cut and fabricate stone slabs. This will include making note of sinks cuts outs, backsplashes, radius, and specific information necessary for fabrication.

Job Requirements:
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be available Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. (occasional overtime may be required.)
• Must have excellent reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Templater will use digital tools for measurement, therefore must be computer literate, experience in AutoCAD is beneficial.
• Must enjoy working in a team environment.
• Experience templating and installing granite countertops preferred, but not required.
• Should be familiar with common tools used in the construction trade.
